The course aims to acquaint students with agroforestry systems and applications,

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : describe the agroforestry applications and explain its relation to rural development2
LO - 2 : apply various techniques at different region of Turkey for multiple uses.43
LO - 3 : determined propagation technique according to eco-sylviculture aspect of multiple uses species.35
LO - 4 : present before an audience the results and outcome of any exercise42

Contents of the Course
Introduction to agroforestry; agroforestry systems; definition, benefits, applications, design consideration; traditional agroforestry application in Turkey and other country; rural appraisal methods; sample projects and project assessment; examples, Ecological and economic models.
