Contents of the Course
The chemical structure of living organisms, metabolism of energy producing and consuming,biological transformation, cells, cellular size, the basic structures of eukaryotic cells, biomolecules, the effect of water-soluble molecules, ionization of water, Amino acids and peptides common structural features, Structure and properties of proteins and protein, enzymes, working principles and kinetics, fats, fats in the cell membrane structure, the stored fats, Carbohydrates, monosaccharides, disaccharides, and polysaccharides, analysis of carbohydrates, Nucleotides and nucleic acids, structure, chemical composition, and function, glycolysis, citric acid cycle, fatty acid cycle, carbohydrate biosynthesis.
