| The department aims at providing its students with a broad knowledge in all fields of landscape architecture, developing students' ability to determine and solve landscape architectural problems, educating students to have sufficient knowledge and experience on designing, planning and managing for space organizations in open and green areas regarding user requirements and demands. |

| Learning Outcomes of the Programme : |

| Upon successful completion of this programme, students will be able to : |
| OP-1: | Use the knowledge for designing, planning and detailing outdoor spaces in different size and scale depending user needs. |

| OP-2: | Provide the skill for applying their knowledge of designing and planning to formation of outdoor spaces in urban and rural landscapes, and to other professional areas of landscape architecture. |
|
| OP-3: | Provide the knowledge for identification, cultivation, and application of plant material in context of aesthetic, functional and ecological purposes. |
|
| OP-4: | Provide the skill for designing, planning and application of native and exotic plant species to outdoor spaces with aesthetic, functional, and ecological purposes and to the areas of landscape architecture profession. |

| OP-5: | gain skills to produce, research and question site plan applications in the light of basic engineering concepts by using all available resources of technology and define landscape structures and materials. |

| OP-6: | Gain the necessary skills to realize projects which present logical and realistic solutions to ecological problems in harmony with natural forms to protect the nature which belongs to the living organisms. |
