The aim of the course:
Bilgisayarın donanım olarak hangi bölümlerden oluştuğunu ve bu bölümlerin birlikte nasıl çalıştığını tanımak. Bilgisayar parçalarının birbirleriyle ilişkilerini öğrenmek. Uygun işletim sistemini kurabilmek. Learning the hardware parts and configuring these parts of the computer. Learning the relation between the parts of thwe computer. Installing the operating system.

Contents of the Course
PC; Motherboards; CPU; CPU and motherboard. Bridges; details of CPU; Moores Law, Cache memory; data and orders; CPU samples; RAM; RAM technologies and details, Chipsets; Input/Output (I/O) system; slots like ISA and PCI; Busses; adaptors, Harddisks; floppy, CDROM, etc. drives; ATA, SATA. Strategies of combining and configuring a computer and the ways of solving hardware problems. Meanings of Overclock and benchmark. Multimedia systems, systems software and terminology, new technologies.
