Students are expected to recognize natural and artificial building materials, evaluate their technical, aesthetic, economic, and environmental properties, and make appropriate material selections in landscape design projects. Furthermore, the course covers the design and application principles of landscape structures and structural elements, aiming to develop students' professional practical skills. |

| The course examines the properties of natural stones, igneous stones, metamorphic and sedimentary stones, as well as artificial materials such as concrete, brick, and mosaic used in landscape architecture.
In addition, the uses of wood and glass materials in landscape design are discussed.
The design and application principles of structural elements within landscape structures, such as curbs, stairs, ramps, parking lots, walls, canopies, roofing systems, steel structures, and tensile membrane systems, are evaluated. |
