The aim of the course:
The aim of this course is to provide students with fundamental knowledge of graphic representation techniques used in landscape architecture; to enable them to understand and apply two- and three-dimensional representation methods, including plans, sections, elevations, perspective drawings, and physical models; and to develop their ability to communicate landscape design ideas effectively through visual representation.

Contents of the Course
- Fundamental concepts of graphic representation techniques - Two-dimensional representation techniques (Plan, Section, and Elevation) - Three-dimensional representation techniques (Perspective Drawing and Physical Models) - The concept of scale - Representation of structural and planting landscape elements, symbols, and human figures in plan, section, and elevation drawings - Introduction to perspective types and applications of One-Point Perspective and Isometric Projection - Physical model-making techniques at different scales and in various styles

 Week 2Fundamental concepts and theories of graphic representation techniques. *Studio: Line drawing exercises (introduction to drawing materials and their proper use).
 Week 3Two- and three-dimensional representation: scale, plans, elevations, and sections. *Studio: Plan and elevation drawings (basic geometric forms).
 Week 4Two- and three-dimensional representation: scale, plans, elevations, and sections. *Studio: Plan and section drawings (basic geometric forms).
 Week 5Two- and three-dimensional representation: scale, plans, elevations, and sections. *Studio: Plan and section drawings (complex forms).
 Week 6Plans, sections, and elevations: principles of graphic representation. *Studio: Site section and elevation drawings using a terrain model.
 Week 7Plans, sections, and elevations: principles of graphic representation. *Studio: Site section and elevation drawings.
 Week 8Graphic representation techniques for landscape architectural projects (line weights, symbols, and human figures). *Studio: Plan drawing (buildings, ground cover, planting, curbs, site furnishings, paving, and contour lines).

 Week 10Graphic representation techniques for landscape architectural projects. *Studio: Section drawing (section lines, depth, and graphic conventions including symbols and human figures).

 Week 12Graphic representation techniques for landscape architectural projects. *Studio: Construction of a physical model for an urban space.
