By the end of the course, students are expected to understand and use basic expressions employed in everyday communication, meet essential communicative needs, provide detailed personal information about themselves, and communicate effectively in a variety of everyday spoken interaction contexts. |

| This course enables students to introduce themselves in greater detail by using all the fundamental French verb groups and to express their daily lives more comprehensively. Students develop their ability to formulate questions and provide appropriate responses through dialogue- and text-based activities. Expressions of location and direction are taught, and students practice asking for and giving directions. Everyday communicative situations, such as shopping, are practiced through group-based dialogue activities. Vocabulary related to everyday themes, including fruits, vegetables, animals, and similar topics, is introduced through student presentations, thereby enhancing learners' lexical repertoire as well as their speaking and presentation skills. |
