The aim of the course:
The aim of this course is to reinforce students' previous knowledge of modern literature and introduce them to examples of modern English literature as well as modern American literature. To this end, two texts from modern English and American literature will be read comparatively.

Contents of the Course
This course will first discuss the key features of modernism and modern literature, and then proceed to the textual readings. First, a text from Modern English literature will be read, followed by a parallel text from Modern American literature, for a comparative analysis.
