The aim of the course:
The aim of the course is to enable students to develop a comprehensive understanding of the latest trends and developments in the field of translation; to inform students about emerging areas, profiles, tools, techniques, and problem domains related to translation; to enhance students? ability to critically evaluate the impact of emerging trends on the translation profession by considering their ethical, cultural, and practical implications; to allow students to experience real-world translation scenarios; to develop students? intercultural communication skills and their ability to participate effectively in multicultural environments; to improve students? ability to adapt to new tools and techniques, which is a crucial skill in the rapidly evolving translation sector; to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to prepare them for a wide range of career opportunities in the field of translation; and to instill in students the curiosity and commitment to continuous learning required in the rapidly changing field of translation.

Contents of the Course
The course focuses on preparing students for the rapidly changing professional translation landscape of the 21st century. The acceleration of globalization and technological advancements is causing profound transformations in the translation world, bringing with it new fields, profiles, tools, techniques, and areas of concern. In this context, the course will focus on emerging trends driven by artificial intelligence and digital innovations, grounded in intercultural communication. Throughout the course, students will explore these new trends in translation and develop an understanding of their implications for the translation profession, while also gaining hands-on experience to effectively use new tools. The course content will be continuously updated to reflect the latest developments.
