The aim of the course:
The objective of this course is to provide students with the knowledge and critical vocabulary necessary to identify and analyze literary forms, devices, and genres across English literary history.

Contents of the Course
This course introduces students to foundational literary terminology and critical vocabulary used in the study of English literature. Beginning with an overview of English literary history, the course progresses through major literary genres-poetry, drama, and the novel-analyzing the terms, forms, and conventions specific to each. Emphasis is placed on developing students' ability to recognize, define, and apply literary terms through textual analysis and discussion.
