Since Christianity played a central role in shaping medieval societies, one of the main objectives of the course is to evaluate the political, social, and cultural impacts of the Church during this period. Additionally, important topics such as scholastic thought, the Crusades, reform movements, and sectarian divisions will be covered, allowing students to critically evaluate the historical development of Christianity in this period. |

In this course, in addition to information on the birth, spread and doctrines of Christianity, topics such as heretic movements that emerged in the history of Christianity and the relations of heretics with the church will be covered. |
