The aim of the course:
Determining the structure of the classical age Ottoman economy; explaining the effects of the Industrial Revolution on the Ottoman Empire.

Contents of the Course
Determining the effects of the Industrial Revolution on the classical period Ottoman economy; explaining the basic factors that changed the Ottoman economic structure; determining the investment instruments of foreign capital; giving information about the first industrialization initiatives of the state and private enterprises, the working class and strikes.
