The definition, scope, basic discussions, sources and institutions of the Ottoman intellectual history will be discussed in the course.By examining the fields of philosophy-science, theology, mysticism and law that make up the Ottoman thought, readings and discussions will be made on areas such as politics, economics, art-architecture and space-city, where the Ottoman thought can be traced. |
