The aim of the course:
The aim of this course is to explain the factors that helped shape Turkey's foreign policy tradition and the historical development of Turkish foreign policy, emphasizing Turkey's national and international interests.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
PO - 1 : Understand the basics, important issues and turning points of the Turkish foreign policy.11,3,
PO - 2 : Comprehend the historical evolution and change processes that helped form the diplomatic trends and the political structure of contemporary Turkiye.2,31,3,
PO - 3 : Obtain knowledge and gain interpretation skills that will provide them different perspectives in their reading and research in their respective fields.31,3,
PO - 4 : They will be able to establish a connection between history and diplomacy.51,3,
PO - 5 : Reach to a level that can enable them to conduct research, make evaluations and prepare presentations by examining Turkish foreign policy in a historical context.21,3,

Contents of the Course
This course covers the political, historical and diplomatic events that shape Turkish foreign policy, especially by focusing on Turkey's geographical location.
