The aim of the course:
The main goal of the lesson is to give information about the Ottoman Reformation and Idea movements between the Lale Devri and the Kanun-i Esasi.

Contents of the Course
The Ottoman society and state structure and the modernization movements in the intellectual life and Westernization have been discussed. In this period, Tulip Era, III. Selim and Nizam-ı Cedid, II. Mahmud reforms, Tanzimat Edict, Reform Edict and Kanun-i Esasi will be examined.
