The aim of the course:
The main objective of the lesson is to study developments of colonialism in history.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
PO - 1 : understand the formation of the Modern Colonialism in historical process in general terms1,3,6
PO - 2 : determine the effects of Colonialism in the Formation of Modern Europe7,14
PO - 3 : achieve to present and debate these subjects before society 7,15

Contents of the Course
It is analyzed political, military and cultural dimensions of colonialism which emerged as a result of the history of Western Europe. Besides, it is dealt with the role of colonialism in the formation of the present problems of the modern world.
