The aim of the course:
This course aims to introduce the majör literary and dramatic traditions of the 20th century in Europe and particularly in the UK. Among these traditions, Ibsen and his Realist drama, Brecht and his Epic theatre; and Shaw, Beckett, Pinter and the Theatre of Absurd will be studied in detail with the examples from the works.
