The aim of the course:
This course aims at providing the students with a sufficient background about British culture, arts, literature, lifestyle, etc, as well as developing insight on both British and Turkish culture, customs, traditions and other aspects of life by making comparisons between the two.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : Identify and get detailed information about British Culture.21,

LO - 3 : Acquire knowledge on the similarities and differences between British and Turkish culture by making comparison.21,

Contents of the Course
Definition of some crucial geographical and political terminology related to Btirish identity. Also, introduction of some cultural aspects such as, lifestyle, democracy, sports, arts, literature, etc. Making comparisons between Turkish and British culture.
