The aim of the course:
This course aims to help the students develop a sense of literary appreciation through major fictional works by distinguished English novelists and relate them to the 20th century context, establish and recognize crucial connections between the spirit of the time under and the texts under consideration. It helps acquire familiarity with literary concepts and technical vocabulary used in the art of story-telling and develop a notion of literature that makes us understand what human being is.
