The aim of the course:
To introduce the fundamentals of polymer scienceTo provide basic understanding of manufacturing technologies related to polymer productsTo introduce test methods in polymers.

Introduction and classfying of polymers, Main polymerization reactions, polymer synthesis, degree of polymerization and molecular weights, chemical and pysical microstructures and properties of polymers, thermal behaviour of polymers, polymers containing amorf and crystal microstructures, polymer forming, engineering polymers and technology of advanced polymers
