The aim of the course:
To constitude the background of Ottoman state organisation to M.A. students who prepare thesis on Ottoman history by giving confidential and systematic knowledge.

Contents of the Course
Explanation of the relations between Ottoman Empire and the its subjects who were coming from a very different origins and religions, relations between center and periphery, power distribution in center and the working of state bureaucracy by examples.
