The aim of the course:
The main objective of the course is to discuss the vassal position of the Caucasus between Rome and Iran during the old and middle ages and how this affects religious and cultural developments in the region.

Contents of the Course
Interaction between Caucasian communities in the old and middle ages, political formation of the region, the position of the Armenian, Alban and Georgian communities between Rome and Iran, the spread of Christianity in the Caucasus and the cultural development of the region.
