The aim of the course:
The objective is to develop students' terminological awareness, research competence, and machine translation literacy in the context of translation of academic texts and to contribute to their acquaintance with academic language standards.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : have an awareness of the standards of academic translation.151,3,
LO - 2 : conduct proper research processes in the context of translations of academic texts from different disciplines.141,3,

Contents of the Course
In-class discussions are held through weekly practices on academic texts from various disciplines regarding the prominent problem areas and solutions in academic translation by use of machine translation systems.
