Also, history of furniture till 20th century is shortly treated in 7 parts such as ancient times, the Middle Ages Baroc, Rococo, Renaissance, New Ages and the period from 1789 A. D. to the present. Then, from 20 th century to the present, research on history of furniture. Finally, research on abstract thought of interior space and furniture in the Turkish traditional house. It is aimed to provide the students with experiences on furniture coating, accessory, junction details and textile through homework assignments. |

| A brief summary on the history of furniture from archaic Egypt to the present. A research on furniture design and on furniture disciplines. A research on the concepts and methods of furniture.
