The aim of the program is to train qualified designers who are equipped with the knowledge and skills to work as a designer in every field of Interior Design, have internalized ethical values ??related to their profession, adopt national values, and have a modern, technological infrastructure and equipment. |

Upon successful completion of this programme, students will be able to : |
OP-1: | 1. The ability to have fundamental theoretical and conceptual knowledge about the discipline of design, as well as practical skills, and to be able to engage in design studies with this accumulation of knowledge | |
OP-2: | 2. The ability to identify potential problems in design and planning topics, depending on spatial configurations at different scales in the fields of design and planning, and to define necessary researches for them and generate solutions. | |
OP-3: | 3. The ability to conduct research, acquire information, read, interpret, and utilize knowledge in both native and different languages | |
OP-4: | 4. The ability to express knowledge about the field and the generated design concept through verbal, written, and two- to three-dimensional technical/artistic visual tools | |
OP-5: | 5. The ability to comprehend the scope and responsibilities of interior design; adopting a design approach that focuses on human, society, and environment; and understanding the responsibilities towards them | |
OP-6: | 6. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, establish empathy, manage time and stress, take responsibility, and manage the process. | |
OP-7: | 7. The ability to follow and utilize conceptual, artistic, cultural, scientific, and technological knowledge in the field of interior design | |
OP-8: | 8. The ability to select computer programs, tools, techniques, and technologies during the design and communication stages, and proficiently use at least one computer-aided design program required by the field | |
OP-9: | 9. The ability to possess necessary knowledge about existing principles, laws, regulations, and standards related to interior design, take ethical responsibility, and adopt a quality-focused approach to professional development in the field | |
OP-10: | 10. The ability to be aware of the importance of occupational health and safety in the workplace, know the rules regarding occupational health and safety, know what to do in emergencies, and have the ability to perform first aid when necessary | |
OP-11: | 11. The ability to understand interior surface and fixture materials, know the production process of fixtures, estimate quantities and pricing, differentiate between materials, and apply materials. | |
