The objectives of the programs are to: educate students so that they acquire relevant knowledge about forest products industry and related fields; develop student's ability to solve problems using the techniques, skills and modern engineering tools; develop student's ability to utilize his/her knowledge in designing, conducting and analyzing results for solving basic forest products industry-related problems; develop student's ability to effectively communicate. |

Upon successful completion of this programme, students will be able to : |
OP-1: | An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering | |
OP-2: | An ability to determine, define, formulize and solve complicated engineering problems on forest industries, with this aim select and apply proper analytical methods and modelling | |
OP-3: | An ability to design a system that fulfills special requirements under real limitations and situations of a complicated system, process, device or products in forest industries; with this aim the student has the competence of applying modern design methods | |
OP-4: | An ability to development, selection and use of modern techniques and tools required for forest industrial engineering and to use information technologies effectively | |
OP-5: | An ability to experiment design, perform experiment, data collecting, analyze results and interpretation of results for analyzing problems in forest industrial engineering | |
OP-6: | An ability to work effectively within the discipline and multi-discipline teams and undertake responsibility as an individual | |
OP-7: | An ability to communicate effectively in written and oral and to have at least one foreign language | |
OP-8: | A recognize the need for and ability to engage in life-long learning and constantly renewing themselves along with the awareness of necessity for lifetime learning | |
