ADMISSION & REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS |
Admission and enrollment requirements for this program are carried out within the framework of the regulations of the Republic of Turkey's Higher Education legislation. High school graduates are placed in the program based on their higher education entrance exam results. Placement is conducted by ÖSYM (Student Selection and Placement Center). The enrollment requirements are identical to those of the higher education entrance system.

OBJECTIVE of THE PROGRAMME |
Graduates of the program will be qualified to work as information technology technicians in various fields that integrate artificial intelligence technologies into business processes. This includes employment as technical personnel in sectors such as small-to-medium-sized enterprises providing AI-based software and web services, the finance sector, data platforms with recommendation systems, and public automation systems. Generally positioned within the field of information technology technicians, graduates will address the demand for a new-generation sub-specialization in artificial intelligence technologies. |
RECOGNATION of PRIOR LEARNING |
Recognition of Prior Learning offers numerous benefits to both our students and employers. For students, the advantages include fostering professional development and mobility in the labor market, preventing repetition of training and time loss, enabling early graduation, reducing the cost of education, encouraging lifelong learning, and increasing motivation and self-confidence. From the perspective of employers, it helps address skill or qualification gaps in the workplace, reduces the time employees spend outside the workplace for training, and thus contributes to more efficient use of resources. |
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS and REGULATIONS |
Students who successfully complete all courses and the vocational internship in the two-year (four-semester) education program are awarded an associate degree. |
EXAMINATION, ASSESSMENT and GRADING REGULATIONS |
Students are evaluated through midterm assessments (exams, projects, seminars, quizzes, or assignments) and a final exam for each course. The final grade is calculated with 50% contribution from midterm assessments and 50% from the final exam. All exams are graded on a 100-point absolute scale, and students must score at least 45 points in the final exam. Final grades are converted into letter grades based on a relative grading system. Students who receive one of the letter grades (AA), (BA), (BB), (CB), or (CC) are considered to have passed the course. At the end of each semester, students may take a makeup exam for the courses they failed during that semester. |
