İmportance of meteorology in maritime. The atmosphere, its composition and physical properties, solar radiation. Meteorological elements; weather temperature, atmospheric pressure, humidity cloud and precipitation. Global atmospheric circulation, pressure and wind systems, monsoons, local winds. Weather forecasting at sea. |
