The aim of the course:
The course aims to provide the students with a general knowledge on basic concepts of law and what is law, to enable them to understand and to explain specifically juridical and political events with regard to law in Turkey and in the world.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

Contents of the Course
Social order and law, extra-legal rules and law, definitions of law, sources of law, genesis and practices of law, parts/chapters of law, public and private law, general principles of the Turkish legal system within the framework of the 1982 Constitution.
