The aim of the course:
In this course, the utmost aim is to teach basic grammer rules of Russian and explain them by using examples from daily life. Teaching basic concepts of Russian expressions, enabling students to understand daily events, situations and various thoughts by using didactic way of teaching are fundemantals of this course.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

Contents of the Course
Teaching phonetic, morphological and lexicology of Russian in details. In terms of phonetics, the aim is to teach pronounciation of Russian letters and their intonations. In terms of morphology, the aim to teach nouns, adjectives, pronouns, numbers, adverbs, verbs, tenses, and conjuctions . In terms of syntax, the aim is to teach clauses (main clause and auxilaries) , verb- object and subject relations in sentences, sentence forms. In this course, before learning these language components completely it is not possible to move another rule. Therefore, various examples will be given to students to make the learning concrete. Examples will be provided by both lecturer and student. The course will be delivered with the methodology of eclectic teaching so as to make students learn the things taught comprehensively. The material will vary from tables, pictures, movies, VCD/DVD and audio type (that is; use of visuals) .
