The aim of the course:
While abiding the grammar rules to teach how to write in Russian in beginner level and to carry studies out in order to read and use the language actively.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : In the process of learning the students will be introduced to; The cyrillic alphabet, pronunciation, emphasis and phonetic rules.4,121
LO - 2 : Words (to a certain degree) and basic grammar rules will be taughtand while using 'and, if, or' conjunctions the knowledge of creating simple and compound sentences will be gained.4,122
LO - 3 : They will be introduced to the Russian culture and verb conjugtions4,122
LO - 4 : The locative (place) prepositions and the prepositions 'in, on, about' that are used with it will be taught4,121
LO - 5 : The tendency to speak Russian will improve. 4,122

Contents of the Course
The system and sounds of the Russian language, exercises for alphabet and phonetics, noun genders, personal pronouns, possessive adjectives, the usage of 'and, if' conjunctions, the usage of possible and restrictive expressions, verb conjugations, adjectives, teaching the question words of adjectives that change according to their gender and singular-plural forms, ordinal numbers, prepositional case, adverbs, conjugation of reflexive verbs.

 Week 1The system and sounds of the Russian language, exercises for alphabet and phonetics. Reading and writing exercises.
 Week 2Reading of short words and phonetic rules
 Week 3Alphabet and phonetic exercises. Noun genders (Masculine gender, feminine gender and neuter gender).
 Week 4«Eto» demonstrative pronoun. Personal pronouns. Who is this?, What is this? question words. Answering these words. Repetition of noun genders (Masculine gender, feminine gender and neuter gender). Possessive pronouns.
 Week 5Getting started into personal pronouns. The usage of and, if conjunctions. Conversation topic: To meet.
 Week 6 The question word Where? and simple answers that can be given to the word. (Here, there, to the right, to the left).
 Week 7 The question word Who? and simple answers that can be given to the word.
 Week 8Reading of short texts
 Week 9Exam week.
 Week 10Adjectives. Ordinal numbers. Conversation topic: My family.
 Week 11Teaching the question words of adjectives that change according to their gender and singular-plural forms. The question 'How much does it cost?' and the verb 'To like'.
 Week 12Exercises regarding; I know that and I think that templates. The continuation of present tense, the first conjugation.
 Week 13Prepositional case, pronoun case, oral and written exercises about the subject.
 Week 14Verb conjugations ( present tense, the second conjugation). The usage of the russian 'Bıt' verb in the present tense.
 Week 15Introduction for adverbs. Conjugation of reflexive verbs. Conversation topic: Friend(s) (my city).
 Week 16Final exam.
