The aim of the course:
The aim of this course is to enable students to understand the fundamental concepts and theories of management psychology and to evaluate the psychological foundations of human behavior in working life from a scientific perspective. The course seeks to develop students? competence to analyze the role of psychological processes such as individual differences, perception, attitudes, and personality within managerial contexts. Furthermore, the course aims to foster a critical understanding of how contextual factors, diversity, and discrimination dynamics influence human behavior and organizational outcomes.

Contents of the Course
This course introduces the fundamental concepts and theoretical framework of management psychology and examines the psychological foundations of human behavior in working life. Individual-level psychological processes such as perception, attitudes, individual differences, and personality are analyzed within a managerial context. The course discusses the position of management psychology within the natural and social sciences and emphasizes its multidisciplinary and eclectic structure. The role of contextual factors (organizational and environmental) in shaping human behavior is examined. Furthermore, employees roles within organizations are explored through the resource-based perspective. Contemporary issues such as workplace diversity, types of discrimination (glass ceiling, microaggressions, direct and indirect discrimination), stereotyping, system justification theory, and social dominance theory are analyzed from a scientific perspective. The course also addresses personality theories and typologies, highlighting the impact of individual differences on organizational outcomes.
