The aim of the course:
To furnish the students with the information about professional building and environment. To enable students to acquire observation and enthusiasm.

Contents of the Course
Basic elements, concepts and processes of building. Components of elements forming the building in architecture. Dimensions of Function, Form, Technology, Economy and Ecology. Building Typologies General characteristics of buildings. Relationships of Human/Building, Building/Environment.

 Week 6Relations between ecology-environment-architecture.
 Week 7Relations between ecology-environment-architecture.
 Week 8Form concept in architecture, Form elements, Form creating methods. Analyzing building examples.

 Week 10Space concept in architecture, Definitions, Factors that create space, Space Types, Space styles of different architects.
 Week 11Function concept, Functional organization, Function in house, Forming functional diagram, divisions of house.
 Week 12Activity-Space concepts, Development levels of building system, Different functional buildings and development levels
 Week 13Relations between Man- measure- form, anthropometry, Man's dynamic and static measures.
 Week 14Environment- space- social space concepts and their relations, Analyzing examples.
