The aim of the course:
Contents of the Course: As an interdisciplinary study area, Migration Sociology tries to understand and explain the causes of migration as one of the most important forms of social movement, its consequences, the new spatial adaptations of immigrants, and the relations with the new social structure within the sociology discipline. In this context, immigration and migration theories, business migration and migration issues, international migration and the emergence of migrants, problems, debates and their impact on societies will be discussed.

Contents of the Course
The aim of this course is to increase the awareness of sociology students about immigration which is becoming increasingly important for Turkey and the world, to inform about national and international migration and social outcomes and to think about social problems caused by immigration.
