The aim of the course:
The aim of this course is to examine Turkish political thought from a feminist perspective in order to understand the position of women in political life.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
PO - 1 : He/she has a good command of the basic approaches, concepts, and relations between concepts regarding women, gender, and family studies at a level to evaluate their reflections at the theoretical and practical levels.2,3,4,51,

Contents of the Course
Contents of the Course The place and development of the women's movement in Turkish political life, the image of women in liberal, socialist, conservative and nationalist, Islamist and Kemalist thought, women's participation in politics and the political sphere, and the conditions that enable/obstruct political participation will be discussed.
