The aim of the course:
The course aims to provide students with a solid understanding of the linkages between climate change, ever-changing nature of security context, and social transformations.

Contents of the Course
It engages the topic of climate change by emphasizing its direct consequences for social changes and challenges in connection with the widening dimension of security perceptions and varying subjects in security conceptions. The first part of the course informs its audience about the broad spectrum of security implications caused and multiplied by the adverse impacts of climate change. The second part of the course expands its analytical framework and focuses on social justice, equality, transformation, ruling cadres, media, and civil society in connection with the applications of power politics and social dynamics.
