The aim of the course:
It is aimed to identify wastes and learn the disposal methods that can be applied according to the types of wastes, to learn the processes through which wastes can be recycled, to determine the environmental impact values ??of wastes, to determine how waste management will be done, and to learn the benefits of recycling wastes.

Contents of the Course
What is waste? Harms of waste. Types of waste, waste recycling methods, recycling methods applied according to waste type, environmental impact values ??of waste, benefits of recycling waste. Definition of the terms recovery, recycling, waste reduction, reuse and disposal. The contribution of recycling to the country's economy, its benefits to the environment and human health. Recycling symbols. Recyclable waste materials. Waste regulations, legal regulations and responsibilities imposed on institutions. Recovery statistics in Turkey and the world. General stages of the recycling system. Collection, classification, process stages, recovery products of iron/steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, plastic, paper, glass, composite, electronics, accumulator, battery, textile, oil, construction, organic, automobile tire and rubber waste. , representation with symbols and regulations. Collection, transportation and disposal of hazardous waste.
