The aim of the course:
The aim of the course is to develop students' ability to understand and analyze monetary policy at the graduate level.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

Contents of the Course
Monetary policy framework, monetary policy objectives, monetary policy tools, unconventional monetary policy, central bank balance sheet, FED and European Central Bank, monetary strategies and country practices, exchange rate targeting, currency board, monetary targeting, inflation targeting, monetary policy in Turkey since 1923.
