Knows the scope of genetic studies. Describes the historical development of genetics. Knows the inheritance patterns and interprets them with relevant examples. Knows the relationships between sex and heredity and interprets them with relevant examples. Knows the types of allele gene interaction and explains with examples related to animals. Knows non-allelic gene interaction types and explains with examples related to animals. Knows the chemical structures, functions and mutation types of genetic materials. Knows the purpose of use of molecular techniques related to animals, gives examples. |
