The aim of the course:
Tecnics to be applied in restoration will be discussed by considering material and construction technics of different building technics belonging to our architectural inheritance in order to enhance respect to the environment protecting historical environment and buildings.

Contents of the Course
Development of protection philosophy, comtemporary hypothesisLegal and organizational aspects of protection in TurkeyCriteria of protection and definition of worth which will be protect. Factors which cause deterioration in monument: inrernal causes, external causesResearches which done before restoration. İmprove the proposal of restoration and restitution. Technics of restoration (reinforcement, integration, regeneration, contemporary extra, revitalising, clarification. Restoration methods of different functional buildings and monuments interior decoration and bearing elements, processes in period of cause of restoration. Building technologies and technics at the present developing time, metarials which use in interior design restoration. Transfuse to student, accomplished restoration exercises and new adaptation role that gain different building types, discuss this examples in course content.
