The aim of the course:
Discussion on culture which is the most important factor on forming housing issue, on the other hand examine to what the social and cultural determinants are on housing design and their effects on design process.

 Week 5Social and personal factors which are effected forming of housing and its enviroment in micro-meso scale
 Week 6Analysis methods in housing researches
 Week 7 Characteristics and plan typies of Traditional Turkish House. Effective factors in the Formation of Traditional Turkish House
 Week 8Mid-term exam
 Week 9Relationship between user needs and housing design. Student presentations.
 Week 10The concepts of privancy and its effect in housing design. Privancy need in different culture and its reflection to forming house. Student presentations.
