The aim of the course:
to give information about fire retardant chemicals and effects mechanism of chemicals and application methods for board production to determine the effects of fire retardant chemicals on fiberboard properties.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
PO - 1 : to have the comprehensive information about to the properties of fire retardant chemicals, effect mechanism and their effects on the panel board properties.2,3,4,81,3,5,

PO - 3 : to design and implement research processes related to the use of fire retardants in MDF production and finalize related studies.2,3,4,81,3,5,
PO - 4 : to conduct a comprehensive study that develops a new method or technological product or applies a known method to a new field related to the effects and use of fire retardants in panelboard production.2,3,4,81,3,5,

Structural properties and classification of fire retardant chemicals used in the fiberboard production, effect mechanisms, application methods in the fiberboard production, accordance properties and interactions of chemicals with resins and effects of fire retardant chemicals on the fiberboard properties
