The aim of the course:
Solvents, to obtain information about solvent-solute interaction , the classification of solvents and to learn about solvent effects on reaction mechanisms in organic chemistry and gain perspective on the effects of solvents on the different mechanisms

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

Contents of the Course
Introduction, General information about the solvents, solvent-solute interaction, solutions, classification of solvents, intermolecular forces and dissolution, solvent effects in different situations, solvent effects on stereochemistry in organic reactions, cleaning of organic solvents and its effect on human health.
