The aim of the course:
The student should obtain basic knowledge about earthquake records.

Contents of the Course
Introduction, Seismic wave phases, Preparing and analysis of time-travel curves, seismological observations, Earthquake record systems, Anatomy of seismograms, Analog and digital records, Analyzing of local and regional records, Analyzing of teleseismic records, Calculations of earthquake parameters from seismograms, Exclusion of instrument effects in recording systems, Modeling of synthetic seismograms, Interpretations of seismograms.
