The aim of the course:
The purpose of the Technology Addiction course is to introduce students to the risks that technology addiction may cause; To inform students about the effects that addictive technologies such as smartphones and the internet can have on a biological, personal and social level, and to ensure that students gain awareness about preventive mechanisms and coping methods against technology addiction.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : The student masters the theories and concepts related to addiction and technology addiction.10,111,
LO - 2 : The student recognizes the subtypes of technology addiction such as smartphone addiction, internet addiction and social media addiction and knows the similarities and differences between them.10,111,
LO - 3 : The student gains the ability to understand and analyze the effects of addictive technologies such as smartphones and the internet on biological, personal and social life.10,111,
LO - 4 : The student gains awareness about various preventive mechanisms and coping methods that can be taken against technology addiction.1,
LO - 5 : The student understands the importance of digital privacy and cyber security concepts against technology addiction.10,111,
