The aim of the course:
Practical demonstration of metabolic and growth events in plants

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : learn experimental knowledge about chemical composition, plant-water relations and transport of mineral substances in plants1,81,
LO - 2 : gain experiences by observations of water loss events and transport of organic substances in plants1,81,
LO - 3 : learn knowledge about photosynthesis, respiration and fermentation metabolism experimentally1,81,
LO - 4 : learn plant growth and their interactions with plant hormones by experiments1,81,

Contents of the Course
Preparation of chemical solutions, qualitative and quantitative determinations of some substances in plant tissues, measuring of osmotic potential in plant tissues, experiments for membrane permeability, transpiration, photosynthesis, respiration and fermentation, experiments about effects of plant hormones on plant growth , movement and development.
