The aim of the course:
The aim of the course is to introduce students to different types of scheduling problems they may encounter in their working lives and to provide them with information about the scheduling process. And also it is aimed to gain analytical thinking skills and techniques for solving these problems.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : Can Identify, formulate and solve the current problems with mathematical and heuristic methods2,71,

Contents of the Course
Classification of scheduling problems, routing, machine loading, job sequencing, gantt chart, workshop and flow type scheduling, single machine and multi machine scheduling, parallel machine scheduling, mathematical models to be used in solving scheduling problems, examples of heuristic methods, computer based scheduling applications.
