Global environmental problems observed in various forms such as climate crisis, biodiversity loss, pollution, deforestation, etc. jeopardize the sustainability of the environment by causing a number of problems in political, economic, social and environmental dimensions. In this context, the aim of the ?Global Environmental Politics? course is to provide students with a vision that will enable them to understand and critically analyze the common heritage of humanity, the relationship between globalization and the environment, global environmental regimes and green ideologies, green politics and actors of global environmental politics, major environmental agreements and conventions, climate change, biodiversity loss and deforestation, energy and water crisis, food security, waste management and sustainability. |
