The aim of the course:
Students should gain detailed knowledge to Oil spill and clean up techniques.

Contents of the Course
Characteristics of crude oil and product. Oil Transportation and procedure on the world. International conventions, regulations, and rules. Oil spill assessment and evaluation. Effect of spilled oil on wildlife. Surveillance and tracking operations. Preparing of Modeling, simulation and forecasting drift of oil spills. Emergency procedure and scenarios. Communication and logistic. Response management and organization. Introduce clean up equipment. Use of protector, clean up equipment and recovery devices. Oil spill clean up techniques. Shoreline protection. Oil removal. Safety management and reporting.
