The aim of the course:
In this course we examine the political and social history of Turkish World from the nineteenth century to today. After the Russian occupation the events are offered the students in the light of the regional and international relations and develops, between the Turkish khanates, Russian Empire, British Empire, Ottoman Empire, China, Soviet Empire (Russian Revolution) and after (The Turkic Republics on Central Asia, and in the Russian Federation)

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

LO - 2 : Describe the place of the Republic of Turkey in the Türkish world and recent political and economical problems of Turkish world.
